In this special Creative Sips, we will explore the organic connectedness through which Chicago’s most innovative, influential, and creative artists of color have achieved mainstream success. After a round of casual networking the old-fashioned way, we’ll engage in a frank discussion about the challenges of working as a black and brown creative and how to overcome the hurdles on the path to success. While sharing expertly crafted drinks by Chicago’s diverse mixologists, as well as advice on how to succeed, we’ll learn strategies for tackling the obstacles in our own work while building connections and support along the way.
